Reducing drudgery in the warehouses • Toolbook of good practices

« The CSR approach concerns every employee, including warehouses. The SupplyChain4Good Lab, which means “the Supply Chain of goods for the Good”, has therefore quickly launched work on the subject of working conditions and job ergonomics. This is a concrete project that allows us to share good practices within the France Supply Chain association in terms of reducing the difficulty of working.
Yann de Feraudy, President of France Supply Chain and President of Operations & IT of the Rocher Group

In France, transport and logistics are among the 7 sectors most exposed to musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). To prevent and reduce physical risks in the warehouse, France Supply Chain by Aslog provides all professionals with a Toolbook of concrete practices validated in the field.

Preventing and reducing MSD risks in logistics and transport: a health, performance and attractiveness issue

This new tool is the result of a project carried out as part of the SupplyChain4Good LAB conducted by the Rocher Group and FM Logistic with the contribution of 30 companies. It identifies 13 risk situations encountered in their warehouses. You will learn how to analyze and objectify them through rating and observation grids as well as through technological solutions for measuring gestures and postures.

You will then discover a large number of tools and recommendations, presented and illustrated: workstation adjustments to reduce fatigue, handling aids and active and passive exoskeletons
