FSC is committed to supporting the decarbonization of logistics and transport activities, and modal shift feasibility studies are one of the actions carried out by SC4Good for its members.
The Île-de-France region has strong ambitions for the development of multimodal, low-carbon logistics chains, and for its part offers support measures, particularly for companies, as part of its regional Freight and Logistics strategy.
VNF (Voies navigables de France) is the benchmark public establishment for river transport in France. 4000 employees, spread over 500 sites. The river network comprises 6700km of navigable rivers and canals. Thanks to river transport, VNF provides a range of transport solutions for the ecological and economic transition, and creates new high-impact economic development opportunities for companies and regions, by promoting low-carbon freight.
