On November 23, the Champions League was held, the battle of the winners: the Awards for the best European project, elected among the best projects of their country. This year, projects from the Czech Republic, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and France were competing. And the winner was ... the French project!
This project, you already know it well, it is the Kings of the Supply Chain, prize awarded every year by the French government.
Understanding space.
If, as Yves Lacoste says, geography is first and foremost used to wage war, the great explorers of yesterday and today could reply that geography is first and foremost used to bring people together.
The geographical space is the fruit of a long construction in which one does not penetrate with impunity. Placed at the heart of supply chain concerns, the flow of resources has become a major issue.
Supply chains are constantly managing unstable balances. But since 2020, they are facing real shocks: Brexit, pandemic, blockage of the Suez Canal, war in Ukraine, departure from Russia for some companies, repeated confinements in China. All this with the consequences we know: crisis of electronic components, prices of energy, raw materials, transport, etc... which...
Agility, a philosophy of action.
Beyond the method laid down in standardized procedures and artfully deployed by certified masters, agility is not limited to an assembly of ordered and timed tasks, useful in the management of complex projects. It is first and foremost immaterial, nourishing itself by walking at the source of the motivations of those who decide to undertake.
It is a part of the vi...
4.5 million recruitments to come in 2023, such is the observation of the Adecco-Analytics employment barometer, which reflects the exponential recovery of the job market in recent months. Among the professions that will recruit the most, we find naturally those of the Supply Chain, still unknown to the general public despite the numerous career opportunities and various challenges that the sector offers.
To make up for this, we have...
Many women are involved on a daily basis in all supply chain professions. However, they only occupy 10% to 20% of supply chain management positions. This inequality of representation is certainly one of the challenges to be met by our profession.
Beyond the figures, we thought it would be interesting to hear from 9 women in the supply chain, about their careers and what drives them.

Initiated in June 2021 by the HR LAB, the idea of creating a LAB for young people, by young people began with the ISLI (Kedge Business School) Master's integration seminar in September 2021. There are now 11 students on work-study programmes who make up this LAB. Although we come from different schools and backgrounds, we all have one thing in common, an appetite for the supply chain profession. Promoting and making the supply chain attractive is a key part of our work...

LIVE WEBINAR: Attractiveness of Supply Chain professions, the challenges of discovery and promotion
Faced with the lack of attractiveness of the sector, how can vocations be created? What levers could be used to to enhance the value of the professions and change mentalities?
Dear friends, I hope that you have managed to spend a wonderful holiday season with your friends chers !
For 2021, I wish you success in business, happiness in family and friendships, and of course good health. We have become aware of our vulnerability to the "little things" because like every year, 2020 has had its share of surprises. Among these surprises and consequences of the health crisis, we have seen exceptional growth (in 3 or 4 digits) in e-commerce volumes that our internal and external teams have faced.
However, e-commerce is at the crossroads of many Supply Chain paths:
Customer Satisfaction ... for meeting the very short deadlines to deliver a "perfect" order...
Technology... to forecast demand, to take, allocate or execute orders, to allocate inventory...
Omnicanality to leverage physical stores or multiply delivery modes
The Logistics Strategy of sub-contracting or internalization, mechanization or not, to get through the peaks .
Sustainable Development with the impact of non-returnable packaging, overpackaging and the negative externalities of urban deliveries.
At France Supply Chain, we know that technology and tools are important, but what is most important is the internal or external teams that we lead that make and will make the difference.
It is by sharing our experiences and co-constructing new solutions that we will make progress in our businesses.
Our manifesto, written at the end of the work carried out during the summer of 2020, is the materialization of our project that we want to be sustainable, in a changing world, where our businesses, highlighted in 2020, are eagerly awaited. This manifesto is proof that together we can go further. Let's trace our path.
Very friendly,
Yann de Feraudy
THE SUPPLY CHAIN "MADE IN FRANCE":
WHAT IF WE CHANGE THE WORLD?
The Supply Chain "Made in France", we want it to be innovative, enterprising, fully aware of its ecological footprint and the new demands of consumers. We want it to be stronger, bigger and more decisive. And always profoundly human and vibrant, like all those who keep its pulse beating on a daily basis.
DEVELOP, INNOVATE: A LOCAL DYNAMISM THAT TAKES ON BOARD
AN URGENCY AND A STRONG DESIRE: BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
The shift to a more sustainable production method is inevitable. All the indicators point to the urgency to act, with the Covid-19 health crisis in mind. We are aware of this and we want to be an active part of the change.
Supply that preserves resources, less polluting transport...
Every choice we make is a responsibility.
AT THE HEART OF OUR COMPANIES: BUILDING TOMORROW'S WORLD TOGETHER
Within France Supply Chain, the managers of more than 450 companies exchange and find together solutions to fully succeed in the transformation of their companies. The "LABS" that we run are great places for dialogue and progress: best practices, conferences, workshops on digital or sustainable development.
All of these interactions feed in depth into the work of those who are driving the evolution of the profession. A profession that offers first jobs, career stepping stones, and qualifying paths, a profession that gives everyone a chance, and where no barriers stand in the way of success. This is what the Supply Chain is all about, all of which contribute to the sector's influence.
Integrate a network of women and men who encourage collective intelligence to drive tomorrow's Supply Chain, resolutely turned towards a world durable ;
