Turnpoint is a recruitment agency specializing in Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics professions and functions.
We are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for our client, a distributor of medical devices.
Reporting directly to General Management, you will manage all the company's Supply Chain operations: procurement, logistics and transport. You will also be the business contact for IT projects impacting the Supply Chain.
Your main multi-purpose and operational missions are as follows:
- Procurement
- Define and propose upstream sourcing plans to the General Manager, particularly in the context of large-scale imports.
- Manage downstream supplies for direct sales distribution, ensuring optimum product availability
- Track purchase orders, in liaison with suppliers and forwarding agents, through to receipt in the warehouse.
- Logistics
- Manage logistics service providers (3PLs), supervising receiving, storage, order preparation, shipping, inventory management and reverse operations.
- Monitor operational performance via KPIs (lead time, quality) and manage the warehouse operating account.
- Organize and supervise inventories.
- Prepare negotiations and propose process changes to generate productivity gains.
- Transport
- Optimize schedules, costs and choice of inbound transport service providers.
- Guarantee an efficient and competitive downstream transport system, particularly for "direct sales" flows.
- Ensure that delivery commitments to customers are met.
- IT & Projects
- Propose and lead continuous improvement projects for IT tools in conjunction with internal and external teams.
Profile required
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in similar roles, ideally in omnichannel environments.
- Solid experience in managing logistics service providers (warehouses and forwarding agents) and in leading internal/external teams.
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of contractual environments and negotiation experience.
- Operational leadership, capable of "doing" and "getting things done".
- Pedagogy and ability to adapt to different audiences (sales, IT, service providers, etc.).
- Simple, pragmatic solutions.
- Rigor, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
