A plea for a circular supply chain
A white paper revealing the central role of supply chains in green reindustrialization.
The work and recommendations in this publication are based on a study carried out by Citwell, a management consultancy, and Soroa, an ecological strategy consultancy, with the support of INEC, among companies and trade federations involved in a multi-organizational approach (shippers, transporters, recyclers, waste managers, institutions) to identify the changes needed in the supply chain to comply with the Paris agreements and Objective 12 of the SDGs, while at the same time addressing the inevitable scarcity of resources on a continent that is highly dependent on imports.
