France Supply Chain by Aslog announces the election of Yann de Feraudy as president of the European Logistics Association (ELA)
France Supply Chain by Aslog, the leading supply chain association in France, announces the election of Yann de Feraudy, co-chair of France Supply Chain, as president of the European Logistics Association (ELA). He will serve in this role until July 2028. His mandate will focus on developing skills certification, promoting data sharing among supply chain stakeholders, and strengthening relations with European institutions.
A founding member of the ELA since 1984, France Supply Chain by Aslog continues its commitment to the European Federation of Professional Associations for Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
The European Logistics Association brings together logistics professionals in Europe and around the world

Founded in Brussels, the European Logistics Association (ELA) brings together national associations representing nearly all European countries and beyond. Its network includes approximately 55,000 logistics and supply chain management professionals worldwide.
The ELA fosters international exchanges, promotes careers in logistics, and contributes to the development of professional skills. It also administers a certification program for logistics and supply chain management skills, designed to harmonize qualification levels on an international scale.
Yann de Feraudy’s election as president is a natural extension of his professional commitment—and that of France Supply Chain by Aslog—to the development of the supply chain.
He will be joined by three vice presidents:

Mirek RUMIER
Representative of CLA Czech Republic

Ramon GARCIA
Representative of CEL Spain

Xavier RUIS
Representative of ICIL Spain

“I am honored to assume the presidency of the European Logistics Association and to continue, on this scale, my commitment to the supply chain. At a time when supply chains are facing profound transformations, our collective responsibility is to strengthen skills by certifying them through our new framework, to facilitate the sharing of data and best practices, and to represent our profession before European institutions. “ I aim to make the ELA an increasingly unifying platform dedicated to performance, cooperation, and the recognition of supply chain professions,” said Yann de Feraudy, president of the European Logistics Association and co-president of France Supply Chain by Aslog.

Three Priorities for Yann de Feraudy's Term
Yann de Feraudy’s presidency will focus on three priorities to support the development of logistics and supply chain management at the European and international levels.
Implement the ELA Certification of Competencies
ELA plans to expand its certification program for logistics and supply chain management skills. The program aims to harmonize qualification levels internationally, based on European competency standards.
Develop a data exchange platform
The goal is to facilitate data sharing among supply chain stakeholders, particularly to measure performance and conduct benchmarking. This tool would enable the creation of a European supply chain performance indicator to supplement and update the World Bank’s Logistics Performance Index, which is currently considered insufficient to reflect today’s challenges in resilience, sustainability, and innovation.
Strengthening Relations with European Institutions
The ELA aims to expand its presence within European institutions in order to better represent the challenges of logistics and supply chain management in European public policy discussions and initiatives.
