The HR LAB launched its very first workshop focused on critical skills, highlighting the role of Transportation Manager—identified as one of the key roles in our study conducted with Argon&Co.
Hosted by Aurélie Delemarle and Safia Matouk (Argon&Co) and held at the Louis Vuitton offices, this workshop brought together about twenty professionals to discuss the skills needed today and in the future.
On the agenda: Identification of key job skills, projected of needs by 2030, and discussion on the strategic role of the Transportation Manager in the context of decarbonization, cost control and the digitization of logistics flows
Rich in feedback and forward-looking insights, the discussions yielded numerous avenues for action to support the development of the skills of the future.
P.S.: The next workshop will be on the Demand Planner!

On October 5, a new chapter began for the European France Supply Chain community with the election of our co-chair, Yann DE FERAUDY, as president of the European Logistics Association (ELA).
A founding member of the ELA since 1984, France Supply Chain by Aslog continues its commitment to the European Federation of Professional Associations for Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

“I am honored to assume the presidency of the European Logistics Association and to continue, on this scale, my commitment to the supply chain. At a time whensupplychains are undergoing profound transformations, it is our collective responsibility to strengthen skills by certifying them through our new framework, to facilitate the sharing of data and best practices, and to represent our profession before European institutions.”

Check out: “Nothing Happens by Chance: The Supply Chain Totem”
The result of two years of work led by LAB Jeunes, the comic book *Nothing Happens by Chance: The Supply Chain Totem* was created to introduce younger generations to the diversity of careers in the sector.
A resource designed by young people, for young people, to inspire career paths and raise awareness of a sector that is as essential as it is underappreciated.

In the age of AI, people remain our best investment
As artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming supply chains, one question arises: Are we investing enough in human skills ?
In an op-ed published in Economie Matin, Stéphane NAVARRA, Yann DE FERAUDY, and Loïc LASSAGNE call for reconsider the balance between technology and talent development, and to put people back at the heart of sustainable performance in supply chains.

Feedback from a Coalition of Shippers on the Modal Shift Report
Over an 18-month period, in partnership with Argon&Co, several manufacturers experimented with pooling their freight shipments to encourage a shift from road to rail transport.
This groundbreaking initiative, led by the Supply Chain 4 Good Fund, has helped identify the conditions for success, the obstacles to be overcome, and the key lessons for developing large-scale rail solutions.

The website features 2 job openings and more than 25 candidate resumes, which are updated weekly.
