Happy New Year 2021
Dear friends,
I hope that you will have succeeded in spending a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones chers !
For 2021, I wish you success in business, happiness in family and friendships, and of course good health.
We have realized that we are vulnerable to the "little things" because, like every year, 2020 has had its share of surprises.
Among these surprises and consequences of the health crisis, we have seen exceptional growth (in 3 or 4 digits) in the e-commerce volumes that our internal and external teams have faced.
However, e-commerce is at the crossroads of many Supply Chain paths:
-
- Customer Satisfaction ... for meeting the very short deadlines to deliver a "perfect" order...
-
- Technology... to forecast demand, to take, allocate or execute orders, to allocate inventory...
-
- Omnicanality to leverage physical stores or multiply delivery modes
-
- The Logistics Strategy of sub-contracting or internalization, mechanization or not, to get through the peaks .
-
- Sustainable Development with the impact of non-returnable packaging, overpackaging and the negative externalities of urban deliveries.
At France Supply Chain, we know that technology and tools are important, but what is most important is the internal or external teams that we lead that make and will make the difference.
It is by sharing our experiences and co-constructing new solutions that we will progress in our business.
Our manifesto, written at the end of the work carried out during the summer of 2020, is the materialization of our project that we want to be sustainable, in a changing world, where our businesses, highlighted in 2020, are eagerly awaited. This manifesto is proof that together we can go further. Let's trace our path.
Very friendly,
THE SUPPLY CHAIN " MADE IN FRANCE ":
WHAT IF THE WORLD CHANGES?
WHAT IF THE WORLD CHANGES?
DEVELOP, INNOVATE: A LOCAL DYNAMISM THAT TAKES ON BOARD
Our Supply Chain model is agile, connected, resilient. It contributes to the local development of companies as well as to their growth by enabling them to export worldwide. The example of national champions such as Michelin, L'Oréal and Schneider are clear evidence of this. Our sector now employs 1.8 million people in France and we do not intend to stop there.
