Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Group Transportation Director, the Group Transportation Manager participates with ambition and rigor in the development and structuring of the Group Transportation Department in Europe. He or she proposes, builds, and deploys projects and processes in accordance with Transportation and Group strategies, as well as the effective management of the carriers under his or her responsibility. He manages the projects under his responsibility with a view to continuously improving the customer experience and customer satisfaction (NPS).

In this capacity, his main responsibilities are as follows:

  • For the Dropshipment flow, ensure that a transport plan is put in place that meets the criteria defined for extensions and openings of new flows.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, customer experience, quality, cost, and carbon footprint of upstream and downstream transportation.
  • Identify and carry out projects to improve our workflows, including, for example:
  • – Implementation of a tool for invoice control and tracking of transport costs per order
    – Implementation of new delivery services
    – Provision of end-to-end tracking of our Drop and Inter-branch flows
    – Deployment of reporting on our group's CO² emissions
    – Improving first-time delivery rates and reducing our return flows
    – Improving our carbon footprint, in coordination with our logistics warehouses and flows
    – Reviewing and optimizing the transport plans of our Group subsidiaries
    Managing and negotiating annual transport contracts and rates with our transport partners, deploying
  • Configure our digital tools to ensure the best customer experience
  • Monitor market obligations and opportunities

Required qualities and skills

  • With a master's degree in Supply Chain Management, you have at least 5 years of experience in a multicultural environment.
  • You are known for your ability to prioritize, adapt, and propose relevant solutions.
  • You are proficient in Excel (including macros), PowerPoint, and BI tools.
  • You are independent yet a strong team player, and you communicate with ease to persuade others and lead meetings.
  • Curious, proactive, and focused on operational excellence, you anticipate, innovate, and work with rigor.

Language
Fluency in English is essential for this position – daily written and oral communication.
