Technology Trends Barometer – 2026 Edition

For the english version

The "France Supply Chain Technology Trends Barometer," in partnership with BearingPoint, aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the digital transformations currently underway in the ecosystem’s supply chains. Its goal is to share best practices as well as the
challenges encountered in digitalization projects.
After a few years of silence, this third edition of our overview highlights the emergence of a major focus: circularity. You will, of course, find all the topics related to supply chain digitization (automation, RPA, AI, traceability, etc.).

Through this survey, we sought to understand several things:

WHAT DRIVES
'S INVESTMENTS
IN TECH

in other words, the issues at stake

USE CASES
, AND EXISTING TECHNOLOGIES

WHAT DRIVES THE DECISION TO CHOOSE A PROJECT

rather than another for
for every technology or issue

PRIORITIES AND
: A VISION FOR THE FUTURE

This edition includes a qualitative analysis that allowed us to clarify the responses of certain participants through interviews and to provide greater depth and concreteness to this study (stakeholders from various industries and of different sizes).

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Companies are becoming more mature and discerning: they are actively seeking the right solution, in the right place, for the right business.
  • Some technologies have lost their appeal (blockchain)…
  • … while others have become firmly established (RPA, traceability, IoT) …
  • … or have emerged as new pillars (data platforms, AI-powered image recognition).
  • Some battles now seem to be behind us; the next ones will focus onthe increased and smarter automation of physical and decision-making processes, and scaling them up.

GUIDE FOR WOMEN & THEIR ALLIES

For the english version

The Women in Supply Chain community invites you to discover this guide, which aims to help women in their careers.

“We manage risks, anticipate disruptions, and secure supply chains. It's time to secure our ambition too.”

We looked at what research says about gender stereotypes in the workplace. Then, you will discover 12 biases that hinder careers, mainly for women, and to overcome them, we have gathered advice from our members.

For each of the biases our contributors share:

  • Their advice and best practices basedon their own experience
  • How to assert yourself in the job market: recruitment, figures, and advice
  • Tools for raising awareness in a different way: interactive formats, fun approaches to be used as a team.

So yes, gentlemen, this guide is also for you, because biases are not a "women's issue" but rather collective mechanisms. We are therefore convinced that it could also be useful to you.

“This guide is not an end in itself. It is a starting point. A tool for raising awareness.”–Marie Laure Furgala, ISLI DIRECTOR – MS/MSc in Global Supply Chain – KEDGE BS – CPIM, Board Member at France Supply Chain

Compensation survey - Supply Chain professions - 2025 edition

France Supply Chain and Michael Page have once again combined their expertise to publish a comprehensive survey of remuneration levels for Supply Chain executive positions in France. The aim of the survey is to assist readers in their recruitment or job search, thanks to detailed responses from over 1,200 professionals.

A detailed benchmark of the remuneration offered on the market: salary, variable, increase, etc.

In addition to the fixed salary, we wanted to take a closer look at the variable compensation and benefits offered to Supply Chain executives. In 2024, 1 out of 2 Supply Chain professionals received an average salary increase of 4.2%, although there are a number of variations depending on the job, sector and company size.
SMEs are more reactive when it comes to fixed salaries, while large groups focus on attractive packages (variable, employee savings, PERCO).

Business focus, expert opinions, rankings, etc.

In addition to a snapshot of senior Supply Chain functions in France and in 2025, you'll be able to observe a number of trends: a gradual feminization of professions, an increased search for specific skills, and persistent challenges in terms of the inclusion of seniors and people with disabilities.

Among the study's key findings

  • The job market remains very dynamic, with over 27,000 vacancies published between January and September 2025.
  • Significant feminization of the sector: 38% of managers are women, compared with 31% in 2022.
  • Profiles in short supply, in particular Logistics Operations Managers, Procurement Managers and Supply Chain Managers.
  • Pay rises for 50% of those surveyed (+4.2% in 2024) , with persistent differences depending on company size.
  • Two major challenges remain: keeping older people in work and including people with disabilities.
