FRANCE SUPPLY CHAIN and the DEMETER CLUB invite you to the Workshop on 06 October in Paris, to accelerate the deployment of the hydrogen truck technology on a European scope.

Bringing us together on this project is essential to provide shippers and carriers with sustainable solutions for the supply chain world.

France Supply Chain brought together 42 members on 23 September in Albi for the presentation and testing of a hydrogen truck. The Club Déméter is also exploring this H2 track through the involvement of its members in POCs but also during a collective exploratory phase in Switzerland.

We must now aim for a massive mobilisation to make possible the commitment to 150 trucks before the end of October.

On the programme for the day:

  • 12:00 - 14:00
    Explanation of the European approach, how aid works

  • 14:00 - 17:00
    • Explanation of the Road Map for this project
    • Joint construction of the contours of the consortium (governance, organisation)
    • Joint construction of the framework for engagement

Some workshops will be conducted in English for European shippers/carriers.

The challenge is great and we must be numerous and united.

The decarbonisation of maritime transport is a complex issue for companies committed to greener logistics. Shippers are at the heart of the virtuous circle that will bring innovative solutions. France Supply Chain, its CSR lab SuppyChain4Good, and AUTF invite you to join the Coalition of shippers for a decarbonised maritime transport.

This Coalition will be created on the occasion of Wind for Goods on 21 September in Saint Nazaire - the first national event for wind-powered shipping.

THE FIRST ACTION OF THIS COALITION WILL BE TO
LAUNCH A CALL FOR TENDER IN EARLY 2022.

It will involve a north transatlantic route with a weekly rotation, operated by a container ship using wind as its main source of propulsion. The objective is to achieve a reduction in environmental impact of at least 90% on this routeThe aim is to achieve a reduction in environmental impact of at least 90% on this route, while maintaining a balance between lead-time, service and cost.

You transport containers on the North Atlantic and are committed to the decarbonisation of your flows: join this initiative and participate in the private workshop on the occasion of the Wind for Goods event.

This workshop will take place from 09:30 to 10:30 as a prelude to the event.

Catch-up session: Hydrogen at the heart of discussions for the decarbonisation of the supply chain

If you missed the workshops organised by the SC4Good LAB, this one is for you!

Objectives:

  • Provide a clear vision of the issues
  • Reflect on key success factors for shippers and hauliers
  • Understanding the conditions for a commitment to deploy a hydrogen transport solution

At the end of this session, we will share with you the proposal that we intend to make within SupplyChain4Good for the concrete deployment of H2 trucks in the coming years.
Prior to this working session, we suggest that you watch a replay of the workshop held on 30 May, which will enable you to find out about the current state of play in the deployment of hydrogen solutions for heavy mobility, the progress of hydrogen mobility solutions in Europe and the outline of innovative projects that are already being launched with the right ecosystems.
