Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your main objective will be to ensure the logistical supervision of the warehouse activities within a perimeter defined with your line manager.
- You will supervise the processing of operations within the framework of the customs, tax and international transport regulations in force. In the event of a malfunction, you will intervene to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
- You will be responsible for the operational management of the team: Organisation of the team's work, management of schedules, conducting annual interviews, leading weekly team meetings, etc.
- You are the guarantor of the activity's performance. To achieve this objective, you will implement the necessary organisation in line with company policy. You will also put in place all the tools, processes and feedback to the teams to measure and improve performance.
- You will define and implement the most appropriate logistics solutions for our customers' needs in agreement with the logistics managers in charge of the customer accounts.
- You will work in continuous proximity with your hierarchy and cross-functional departments.
- You ensure that procedures and safety standards are respected.
- You will be able to make proposals to improve the services and management of logistics operations in your area.
- You will define and monitor the KPIs of the activity and the continuous improvement within the framework of a Lean management approach
- As a Manager, you are responsible for maintaining a good social climate. You prepare and lead meetings with your teams. You participate in the logistics steering committee in order to present your results and give the best possible feedback to your teams.
- Your role is also to federate these teams around possible projects and you carry the decisions of the management and the company.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the service sector and for an international company or 5 years experience in a similar position.
Your versatility, rigour and methodology will be the keys to success in this position. Your ability to manage and your good interpersonal skills have been recognised in your previous experience.
English is essential for this position.
You have a solid knowledge of Lean management.
