Logistics Manager (M/F)

As Logistics Manager, you will manage, guide and develop all functions of the distribution center and internal plant flows to meet production and business needs at required performance levels and optimized costs.

A day in the life of a Logistics Manager 

  • Ensure the reception of the different Raw Materials and Packagings, their storage and their delivery to the production areas. Ensure the physical and information flows in link with the treatment of the non-Conform products.
  • Ensure the entrance of Finished Goods in the Distribution Center, their storage in the more convenient areas in order to improve the productivity of the activity.
  • Ensure the preparation of the shipments and their loading to the internal (other Purina DCs) and external (final Customers) customers.
  • Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at factory, Supply Chain, French and Belgium Market (for direct deliveries), other markets for Intercompany shipments, Customs and Transport providers.
  • Monitors and manages Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations.
  • Collaborate with peer factory Logistics managers to share best practices, liaise with TPM Champion, Supply Chain, Procurement, Factory Management and Application Group to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively downstream needs to instill customer service orientation within plant's organization.
  • Participate continuous improvement through NCE.
  • Lead the LEAN pillar throughout the TPM journey.
  • Lead the logistics OMP and manage the follow up of the projects and the KPI cascading.

Transportation Coordinator (M/F)

As part of the Nestlé Transportation Hub, your role will be to improve transportation performance by proactively identifying and resolving issues. Tasks include in-transit monitoring, identification of loading hazards, and action on delivery issues.

 

Your daily missions 

- Set up indicators to measure performance in terms of order processing times and team performance.

- In support of the Transport Execution Leader, participate or lead the teams in its scope.

- Prepare and lead meetings with various internal and external stakeholders.

- Follow all the execution of the transports to ensure the deliveries on time.

- Identify potential problems and implement appropriate solutions to meet customer expectations.

- Proactively communicate to internal and external stakeholders the status of loads and actions underway.

- Implement the strategy defined by the customer service department through action plans specific to each customer.

- Identify recurring problems related to carriers, warehouses/plants/traffic etc. and implement sustainable solutions.

- Use the Nestlé Continuous Excellence principles to identify problems, and implement targeted actions to drive performance improvement.

- Work in collaboration with the Supply Chain teams to achieve an impeccable transport service rate.

Customer Service Support Specialist (M/F)

  • Contribute to the shared process with the Lisbon and local Data teams for the creation and update of customer database data for Purina and Waters: help the applicants in the business; maintain the templates, distribute them and train the business contacts to understand them properly and gradually bring them to autonomy; manage the escalations with the Data teams; participate in the monthly Steering Committee.
  • Contribute to the shared process with the Data Waters teams to create articles for Waters.
  • Contribute with the IT support teams to the parameterization of EDI order and billing flows (fill in the tables of channels).
  • Control the EDI flows of orders in collaboration with the Lisbon order creation teams and intervene with the Lisbon teams, the IT support, and the order managers for their regularization in case of anomalies.
  • Control paper and EDI invoicing flows and intervene for their regularization with the IT support teams, creation of credit/debit notes and recovery of Lisbon in case of anomaly related to the sending of documents.
  • Analyze billing anomalies related to the content of the invoice reported by the Lisbon Collection, Customer Credit, Trade and Local Litigation teams and intervene for their regularization with the IT Support, Litigation, Tax or Local Data teams in case of anomaly.
  • Participate in operational reviews to define short and medium term improvement opportunities in order to anticipate changes (new customers, new items, periodic updates, ...).
  • Update the defined KPIs, identify the areas of improvement, formalize them, obtain the support of the contributors, implement them and follow up on them.
  • Write and update work and control procedures.
  • Contribute to compliance checks according to the procedures in force.

Control, monitor and optimize all operations within the department on French and outsourced sites.
Implement KPI's to ensure the organizational development of the department by optimizing the organization, process and tools
Analyze and improve the overall performance of the department, in particular by implementing Lean management tools in collaboration with the Methods department.
Preserve the social climate and ensure compliance with the rules in force in the company (safety and social)
Reporting :

Provide monthly reporting on product, development and strategy performance.

Within the Technical Support department, you will be responsible for the acquisition and organization of all data and the validation of data from predictive maintenance products.

You will normally be responsible for:

Identify the data to be collected and the cleaning phases to be carried out to ensure overall consistency before processing the data (to avoid false information, duplicate information, different formats, etc.).
Develop data collection and cleaning algorithms.
Study and implement the best technical solutions to manage large volumes of data, taking into account the rules in place for the protection of customer data.

Profile:

You have a bachelor's degree in the field of statistical analysis/BIG data, you have 2 years of experience in this field or in an equivalent position. You have a strong mathematical, algorithmic and computer science background (Algorithm/Optimization, Arithmetic, Linear Algebra, Differential and Integral Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Multivariate Analysis). Your knowledge of Machine learning is a plus.

Obtain technical information on the parts to be covered in order to understand the specificity of each OEM
Assist the Strategic Partnerships department in the negotiation of OEM bids.

Reporting to the Activity Manager, you will be responsible for the following functions

Scheduling

Analyze independently the workload per station
Optimize the preparation of the launch with a view to the performance of short processing times for orders as they come in and the smoothing of orders that can be anticipated.
Supervise and pace the production of the shift by scheduling the workload on the poles (reception, production, shipping, hazardous materials)
Evaluate risks and production delays.
Monitor the proper processing of orders in order of priority: AOG, CRD, SPD, OD

Launch

Launch the preparation waves as much as possible on a just-in-time basis, by launching them at short intervals ("Fast track" item) in order to guarantee rapid processing of orders in terms of the time lapse between launching and availability for transport
Launch the "Island" item load, i.e. orders with multiple lines, in order to smooth out the load but also to avoid bottlenecks in the queue.
Consult the REAL time production to estimate the volume of orders to launch
Launching orders for hazardous materials, taking into account the availability of the processing resource.
Processing and launching of large volume orders, taking into account the availability of the processing resource.
Production and regulation of the shift

Ensure a regular update with REX on the progress of production
Report malfunctions and suggestions for improvement to the REX
Ensure the opening and closing of shifts
Independently ensure the allocation and supervision of resources according to the volumes per shift
Alert the REX or warehouse manager of any malfunction, anomaly or difficulty encountered during the opening or closing of shifts.
Manage alternatives, pre-quarantines.
Partially fill in the follow-up table (VA on Excel) during the day
Ensure versatility on different posts in the warehouse

Reporting to the Director of Operations, your main objective will be to manage and supervise the teams and the operational logistics activity, located at the company's headquarters. This activity includes warehousing and physical management of incoming and outgoing flows, import and export customs clearance and transportation. Security Readiness Project Manager (M/F)

Description:

Location: Saint Denis

In accordance with the host city contract signed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the City of Paris and the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), Paris 2024 is responsible for

  • Plan, organize, finance and deliver the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and associated events;
  • To promote the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in France and internationally;
  • Participate in actions to ensure the sustainability of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games;
  • Contribute to maximizing the positive impact and legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The "Security Readiness Project Manager ", in close collaboration with the Senior Security Readiness Project Manager, will be responsible for preparing the teams for the Security Department for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, in close collaboration with the Human Resources Management Department. He/she will be in charge of coordinating the management and drafting of security policies and procedures for the population involved in the operations as well as for the personnel in charge of security. This function includes the electronic document management of the drafted materials. These procedures will be tested during "Test Events", the framework of which is currently being defined.

The "Security Readiness Project Manager " will be responsible for the preparation of security operations tests, the design and organization of feedback, and the follow-up of improvements to policies and procedures based on the results of these tests.

The "Security Readiness Project Manager", with a good knowledge of quality, policy and procedure writing, will also provide expertise to the Senior Security Readiness Project Manager in training and in the design of materials to transmit instructions to the teams based on the procedures.

Finally, depending on the needs, he/she may be called upon to participate in the design of the command posts of the official sites of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

MAIN MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and drive the drafting of security related policies and procedures. To do this:
  • To acculturate to the world of Olympism and the security framework of Paris 2024;
  • Take into account the different types of "customers" of Paris 2024;
  • Identify existing documents;
  • Comply with the editorial procedures imposed within Paris 2024;
  • To appropriate materials and equipment to be used in safety processes;
  • Define the form of practical and pragmatic writing tools (flowchart, diagram, etc...), allowing a quick, easy and efficient understanding of the processes and training needs by all members of the security team;
  • To guarantee the editorial coherence of all the themes dealing with security aspects, with all the stakeholders in the preparation of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games;
  • To ensure the piloting of the electronic management of the supports written in this framework;
  • Provide methodological and editorial support to the security department teams;
  • Establish and develop close relationships with the relevant Paris 2024 functions to ensure consistency in security-related processes;
  • Support the Senior Security Readiness Project Manager in the design, development and operational implementation of security training programs.

GENERAL: 

  • Adapt to the needs of the position as the department evolves;
  • Prepare documents, presentations, notes and/or reports for internal and external meetings;
  • Carry out assignments with the highest quality standards and in compliance with deadlines, procedures, budget, environmental and responsible purchasing commitments, and Paris 2024 HR policy;
  • In agreement with the Senior Project Manager Security Readiness and as needed, support the Department in any other project deemed to be a priority.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Training Bac+4/5 quality engineer / process engineer,
  • Strong knowledge of Business Continuity Plan methodology,
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the field of safety and security,
  • Experience and skills in the practical application of safety policies and procedures,
  • Experience in flow management analysis and organization,
  • Experience in incident management,
  • Experience in setting up quality processes
  • Experience leading security teams would be a plus,
  • Proven involvement in the organization of a major international sporting event would be a real plus,
  • Good understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement.
